Sorti depuis le 12 novembre dans nos salles, l'adaptation au cinéma du très bon jeu vidéo 'Max Payne' par John Moore est une vrai réusite!

Le film reprend dans ses grandes lignes l'histoire originale du jeu. Un flic new-yorkais, incarné par Mark Wahlberg, tente de venger sa fille et sa femme burtalement assasiné. Son enquète le menera dans un voyage cauchemardesque affrontant également ses propres démons.

L'univers sombre du jeu se ressent parfaitement dans le film. On y retrouve même le bullet-time, cet effet visuel à la Matrix qui a fait le succès du jeu lors de sa sorie en 2001.

Le film est donc une véritable réussite. Scènes d'actions bien réalisées, thriller bien ficelé et une ambiance sanginolante qui ravira les fans du jeu!

The movie is excellent. I would watch it over and over again. It can't be compared with Matrix but is a very good film.
